We manufacture ASTM F1554 anchor bolts in our own plant in Umm Al Quwain, cut from certified bar, bent, thread-rolled and heat treated to Grade 36, 55 or 105, then tested at independent UAE-accredited laboratories before dispatch. Every bolt carries the grade colour code on the unthreaded end and a heat number traceable to the mill test certificate.
ASTM F1554 is the standard specification for steel anchor bolts used to fix structural steel columns, equipment bases and light poles into concrete foundations. It covers three strength grades — Grade 36 (mild steel, 36 ksi yield), Grade 55 (high-strength low-alloy, 55 ksi yield, weldable when ordered with supplement S1) and Grade 105 (quenched and tempered alloy, 105 ksi yield) — in straight, bent (L and J) and headed forms.
Applications
- Column base plates in steel-framed buildings and warehouses
- Pre-engineered buildings (PEB) and mezzanine structures
- Pump, compressor and generator foundations
- Transmission towers, lighting and traffic poles
- Bridge bearings and pipe rack pedestals
- Tank and vessel anchoring in oil, gas and water projects
Standards, grades & finishes
Bolts are supplied to ASTM F1554-20 with UNC or metric coarse threads to ASME B1.1 / ISO 68. Nuts are supplied to ASTM A563 (Grade A for Gr 36, Grade DH for Gr 55 and 105) with ASTM F436 hardened washers. Hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM F2329 or A153 Class C is available for all three grades; for Grade 105 we control bath time to avoid hydrogen embrittlement. Bend radius, projection, thread length and anchor plate detail are made to your drawing.
Anchor bolts, studs and plate washers are manufactured in our own ISO 9001:2015 plant in Emirates Modern Industrial Area, Umm Al Quwain, with calibrated in-house dimensional and thread inspection. Tensile, hardness and chemical testing is carried out by independent UAE-accredited laboratories, and EN 10204 3.1 certificates are issued with every batch. We supply across the GCC, MENA and Africa.
