J anchor bolts are hooked foundation bolts with a 180° curved end, and we manufacture them in our Umm Al Quwain plant from M12 to M100. The hook is formed on a radius die, the shank is thread-rolled and every batch is inspected in-house and independently tested before it ships with its material certificate.
A J anchor bolt (J bolt, J-type foundation bolt) has a curved hook rather than the sharp 90° bend of an L bolt. The hook locks into the concrete to resist pull-out and is often preferred where the bolt sits close to a foundation edge or where the designer wants a tighter, self-centering anchorage. J bolts are cast in place, usually held by a template, and used with two nuts and a plate washer at the base plate.
