Lifting eye nuts give a certified lifting point on the end of a stud, eye bolt or threaded rod, and we stock DIN 582 in Umm Al Quwain from M6 to M48 in forged carbon steel and stainless — zinc plated, hot-dip galvanized or plain — with working loads stamped and test certificates supplied.
A DIN 582 lifting eye nut is a drop-forged nut with an integral eye and a collar, the companion to the DIN 580 eye bolt. Screwed fully down onto a stud or rod so the collar seats, it gives a lifting point with a rated working load for vertical lifts and reduced loads at angles per the DIN 582 table. Common uses are lifting machines by their foundation studs, panels and precast elements on threaded inserts, and as anchor points for guys and stays.
Applications
- Lifting machines and equipment via studs
- Precast concrete lifting inserts
- Transformers, switchgear and generator sets
- Moulds, dies and heavy tooling
