A194 2H is the nut for every B7 stud and bolt we manufacture and supply, so we hold it in depth in Umm Al Quwain from ¼" to 4" and M12 to M100, in plain, hot-dip galvanized, zinc plated and PTFE / Xylan finishes, with 2HM available for sour service.
ASTM A194 Grade 2H is a heavy hex nut of quenched-and-tempered medium-carbon steel with a minimum proof load of 175 ksi, sized to ASME B18.2.2 with a larger across-flats and thickness than a standard nut. It is the standard nut for high-pressure and high-temperature flange bolting with A193 B7, B16 and A320 L7 studs, and for A325 / A490 structural bolts where DH nuts are not specified. Grade 2HM is the controlled-hardness version for NACE MR0175 sour service.
