Fin neck bolts have two fins under a domed head that bite into timber or lock into a slotted channel so the bolt cannot turn while the nut is tightened. We stock them in Umm Al Quwain from M8 to M16, 25 to 150 mm, zinc plated and hot-dip galvanized, with nuts and washers.
A fin neck bolt (DIN 607 cup head nib bolt) is a round-head bolt with two small fins (nibs) on the underside of the head. When the bolt is pushed into a hole the fins embed in timber or engage a slot, holding the head still so the nut can be tightened from one side. It does the same job as a carriage bolt but works in metal channel and thinner timber where a square neck would not grip.
