Bent eye foundation bolts are rod bolts with an eye formed at one end for tying down cables, guys and equipment, or for casting into concrete as an eyed anchor. We stock them in Umm Al Quwain from M16 to M36 in carbon steel, self colour or hot-dip galvanized, with nuts and washers.
The bent (formed) eye bolt is made by bending the bar end into a closed loop rather than forging a solid eye, which makes it economical for static loads such as guy wires, cable anchors and hold-downs. It is not rated for lifting — for lifting use a forged eye bolt to DIN 580. Cast into concrete, the eye acts as the anchorage and the threaded end takes the nut and plate.

Manufactured to ISO / DIN dimensions or to drawing in carbon steel S275JR, property class 4.6; 8.8 on request. Eye inside diameter and bar length to suit the cable or shackle. Threads ISO 965 6g. Hot-dip galvanized to ISO 1461 or self colour. Not for lifting — see Forged Eye Bolt and Lifting Eye Bolt.
This item is imported from approved mills and held in stock in our Umm Al Quwain warehouse alongside the anchor bolts, studs and plate washers we manufacture ourselves, so complete bolt sets ship from one source. Tensile, hardness and chemical testing is carried out by independent UAE-accredited laboratories, and EN 10204 3.1 certificates are issued with every batch. We supply across the GCC, MENA and Africa.
