A T bolt (T-head bolt, hammer head bolt) has a rectangular head that passes through a slot lengthways and locks across it when rotated 90°. Sizes for strut channel (e.g. 41 × 41) engage the channel lips; larger sizes to DIN 186 / DIN 261 fit machine tool T-slots. T bolts allow fixtures to be positioned anywhere along a slot and clamped without access behind.
