Tower bolts are the hot-dip galvanized hex bolts used to assemble lattice transmission, telecom and lighting towers, and we stock them in Umm Al Quwain from M12 to M30 in grade 5.6 and 8.8 with tower nuts, spring washers, pack washers and anti-theft (step / shear) nuts.
A tower bolt is a heavily galvanized hex bolt with a short, controlled thread length so the plain shank sits in the shear plane of the angle-to-angle connection. Tower bolts are made to IS 12427 or the utility specification, with 8.8 used for main leg members and 5.6 for bracing. Assemblies include a nut, spring washer and, where theft is a risk, an anti-theft nut or step bolt.

Standards, grades & finishes
Bolts to IS 12427 / ISO 4016 / DIN 7990 (short thread), property class 5.6 and 8.8 to ISO 898-1, hot-dip galvanized to ISO 1461 / IS 1367 with minimum 55 µm. Nuts to IS 1363 class 5 / 8 galvanized and tapped oversize, spring washers to IS 3063 / DIN 127, pack washers, anti-theft nuts and step bolts. Batch test certificates with galvanizing thickness.
This item is imported from approved mills and held in stock in our Umm Al Quwain warehouse alongside the anchor bolts, studs and plate washers we manufacture ourselves, so complete bolt sets ship from one source. Tensile, hardness and chemical testing is carried out by independent UAE-accredited laboratories, and EN 10204 3.1 certificates are issued with every batch. We supply across the GCC, MENA and Africa.
