Fully threaded hex bolts — hex set screws — are threaded to the head so they work in tapped holes and thin materials at any length. We stock DIN 933 / ISO 4017 in Umm Al Quwain from M6 to M72 in grade 4.6, 8.8 and 10.9, black, zinc plated and hot-dip galvanized, with nuts and washers to match.
A full thread hex bolt has thread running the entire length of the shank. It is the right choice when the bolt screws into a tapped hole (there is no nut), when the clamped thickness is small, or when the length must be adjustable. It should not be used in shear-critical joints where a plain shank is required — use DIN 931 / ISO 4014 half thread instead.
Applications
- Machinery and equipment with tapped holes
- Flanged joints in non-pressure piping
- Cladding rails, purlins and light structural
- Adjustable feet, stops and jacking screws
