Countersunk Allen bolts sit flush with the surface, which is why machine builders, panel makers and glazing contractors specify them. We stock DIN 7991 / ISO 10642 from M5 to M36 in grade 10.9, 12.9 and stainless A2 / A4 in Umm Al Quwain, black, zinc plated or plain stainless, with matching nuts and washers.
A countersunk Allen bolt (flat head socket cap screw) has a conical 90° head with a hexagon socket, driven with an Allen key. When tightened into a countersunk hole the head is flush with or slightly below the surface, giving a clean finish and no snag point. The socket drive allows high torque in a small head and is ideal where a wrench cannot reach.
