B7 threaded rod is the alloy-steel stock we use to manufacture our B7 studs. We hold it in Umm Al Quwain in 3 m and 10 ft lengths from ¼" to 4" and cut it into studs of any length in-house, so short runs, odd lengths and urgent flange bolt lists are turned around quickly.
ASTM A193 B7 threaded rod is quenched-and-tempered chromium-molybdenum alloy steel (AISI 4140) with a minimum tensile strength of 125 ksi, threaded along its full length. It is produced to ASME B18.31.3 with coarse (UNC), 8-pitch (8UN) or metric threads and is the base material for stud bolts in high-temperature, high-pressure piping.

Standards, grades & finishes
Rod conforms to ASTM A193 / A193M Grade B7 (B7M and B16 on request), dimensions to ASME B18.31.3 / B18.31.4M, threads UNC / 8UN Class 2A to ASME B1.1 or metric 6g. Supplied plain (oiled), hot-dip galvanized, zinc plated or PTFE / Xylan coated. A194 2H nuts and F436 washers supplied to match. Mill test certificate with chemical and mechanical results per heat.
Anchor bolts, studs and plate washers are manufactured in our own ISO 9001:2015 plant in Emirates Modern Industrial Area, Umm Al Quwain, with calibrated in-house dimensional and thread inspection. Tensile, hardness and chemical testing is carried out by independent UAE-accredited laboratories, and EN 10204 3.1 certificates are issued with every batch. We supply across the GCC, MENA and Africa.
