Wedge lock washers are the answer where nyloc nuts and spring washers still loosen — vibrating screens, crushers, rail, wind and heavy transport. We stock the Nord-Lock type in Umm Al Quwain from M3 to M42 in zinc-flake coated steel and 316L stainless, in standard and large outer diameter.
A wedge lock washer is a pair of hardened washers with cam faces on the inside and radial teeth on the outside. The cam angle is greater than the thread pitch, so any attempt by the bolt to rotate loose forces the pair apart, increasing bolt tension rather than releasing it. The teeth grip the bolt head and mating surface. Wedge lock washers are proven to Junker vibration test and are reusable.

Tensile, hardness and chemical testing is carried out by independent UAE-accredited laboratories, and EN 10204 3.1 certificates are issued with every batch. We supply across the GCC, MENA and Africa.
