Hot Forging
Hot forging M16–M72 in our Umm Al Quwain plant — eye bolts, heads, collars and special forms to your drawing.
We hot forge in our own plant in Umm Al Quwain. Bar is heated and formed under pressure, which moves the grain of the steel to follow the shape of the part rather than cutting through it. A forged head or eye is stronger than a machined one for the same size, which is why it is the right process for lifting and load-bearing components.
What we use it for
- Forged eye bolts and lifting components
- Anchor bolt heads and collars
- Square and hexagon heads on large diameters
- Upset ends on studs and tie rods
- Special forms replacing a machined part
- Replacement parts for obsolete equipment
Applies to the anchor bolts, studs and plate washers we manufacture, and to customer parts sent in for processing. Hex bolts, nuts, standard washers and other components are imported and supplied from stock.
